In the darkness, Kamla presumes that Raj is with Divya but when Sheila turns the lights on, Sohanlal is shocked to see Raj having dinner with Sarita. Raj brings dinner to Divya's room and says that Sarita can never replace her. Raj hears his grandmother talking about walking on the fire at a temple for the fulfilment of wishes. Sarita and Divya find Raj with blisters on his feet. Raj thinks that Sarita's remarriage will make her happy. Sarita accepts the proposal to remarry.
