Ansh refuses to listen to Gayatri's orders and runs around the house. Payal and Palak follow Gayatri. To save himself from Gayatri, Ansh enters the store room. Gayatri takes the opportunity and locks Ansh in the room. A scared Ansh knocks on the door and requests Gayatri to open. Paridhi and Vidhi are left shocked to see Gayatri's act. Vidhi tries to convince Gayatri to open the door, but fails. While returning from the market, Aarti purchases cotton candy for Ansh, Payal and Palak. Aarti lovingly gives Palak the sweet; however the kid refuses to accept the cotton candy. On Gayatri's insistence, Payal and Palak accept the cotton candy. Aarti calls out to Ansh to give him the cotton candy. Aarti gets shocked when Gayatri informs her that she punished Ansh. Just then Aarti hears Ansh's cry. She heads towards the store room and is about to open the door. Aarti requests Gayatri to open the door. Gayatri reasons out that she had to punish Ansh as the kid was very mischievous. She warns Aarti that she would lock herself in the room, if she released Ansh. She adds that she would also fast without food and water if Aarti persisted. A wicked Gayatri asks Aarti to choose between her and Ansh. To handle the situation, Vidhi suggests that it was time for Suraj Prakash to return home and that they must open the door and settle the matter. Gayatri is forced to open the lock of the door. Aarti gets shocked when she finds Yash lying unconsciouson the floor. She later realizes that Ansh had fallen asleep. Aarti pacifies Ansh and lies to him that the door had got jammed up. Ansh tells Aarti that he was aware that Gayatri had deliberately locked the door as she wanted to punish him. Later, Gayatri informs Aarti that Yash would return home late in the night and that she would have to serve him meal. Aarti agrees to follow Gayatri's orders. Gayatri remarks that Aarti would be more than happy to serve him meal as it would give her a chance to complain about Gayatri's act. She adds that Aarti wanted to create rift between her and Yash and leaves in a huff. Vidhi pacifies Aarti after Gayatri leaves the room.
