Khanderaya requests Mhalsa to let Banu sit on a chair. Naradmuni starts narrating the story of Madhu and Kaitabha. Naradmuni tells the audience that the two demons started meditating to the God. Devi appeared before them and told them to ask for a boon. The two demons asked her to let them die only at a time of their choosing. Madhu and Kaitabha became arrogant with a sense of their importance. They steal the Vedas from Brahma and deposit them deep inside the ocean. Further, Vishnu kills them and retrieves the Vedas. Later, Mani and Mallasur are born out of Madhu and Kaitabha's blood. Mhalsa tells Khanderaya that she is having vague, random memories of her past life. Will Banu be able to realize her true self?
