Pradhanji suggests Khanderaya to meet Mhalsa and inform her about Banu's plight. Khanderaya meets Mhalsa and tells her that he wants to see Banu. Mhalsa asks Khanderaya not to go outside of the palace. In the meantime, Banu asks Manje if she should go inside the palace. Manje asks her to wait till Khanderaya himself meet her. On the other hand, Mhalsa changes her mind and allows Khanderaya to meet his second wife. However, she tells Khanderaya that hereafter he can meet Banu only twice in a fortnight.
