Mhalsa orders her servants to beautify the palace. She cooks herself and enthusiastically waits for Khanderaya to come to the palace. Khanderaya, disguised as a sage, comes to the palace. Mhalsa doesn't recognize him and assumes him to be a rishi. Pradhanji and Lakshmi tells the sage that Mhalsa is anxious as she is waiting for Khanderaya.
