Banu starts preparing sweets for Mahaadev. Khanderaya, disguised as Khandu, too helps her by making the leafcups. Khanderaya assures Mhalsa that he would soon meet her. He suggests Mhalsa to write his name on bael leaves. Mhalsa tells Lakshmi that she would soon be able to see Khanderaya. Mhalsa's messengers bring her message to Banu. Khandu reads it and tells Banu that Mhalsa is willing to help her by punishing Indradev for his mistakes but in return Banu must leave the thought of marrying Khanderaya.
