When Sagar wakes up, Aniket asks him whether it is true that Vidya had not pushed Desai and he was the one who had accidentally pushed him. Sagar is inconsolable. Aniket visits Vidya in jail and confronts her. Vidya breaks down and Aniket tells her that the court cannot punish Sagar because of his present condition, so he would have, anyway, been acquitted. Aniket demands to know who had asked her to confess a crime she had not committed, so Vidya lies that she had made the decision herself. The lawyer tells Aniket and others that Vidya's testimony will go against her despite her being innocent. Aniket asks Sindoora why she didn't stop Vidya from confessing her crime, so Harsh defends Sindoora's action at that hour. The lawyer says that Sagar must be asked to testify even if the court may not heed him because only he can save Vidya now. Sagar agrees to testify. He meets Vidya before the hearing and begs her to allow him to break her promise. Vidya agrees. Sagar narrates the complete truth about Desai's accidental death. The prosecutor asks Sagar to stop the charade in order to save Vidya. Sagar pleads with the judge that Vidya is innocent and says that she takes very good care of him. Aniket's lawyer then submits Sagar's medical reports and requests the court to acquit Vidya because the death was only an accident. The prosecutor demands evidence, so the judge tells the defence lawyer, Mr. Dixit, that they need proof because all evidences prove that Vidya had killed Desai. The judge declares that Vidya cannot be granted a bail
