Vidya and the others are surprised to see how good Sagar looks in a suit. Sagar asks Vidya to always keep holding his hand. Meanwhile, Sindoora and Aniket are shocked to see Surili at the party. When Aniket asks Surili who invited her, she replies that she never needed permission earlier to come to their house. Surili then meets Uma who is equally shocked to see her. She calls out to Sagar and he lets go of Vidya's hand to embrace her. Sagar then introduces Surili to Vidya, and Uma is surprised that he still remembers her! Sagar introduces Vidya to Surili as his best friend. Surili taunts Vidya that Sagar and she were once more than just friends. When Surili asks Sagar why she doesn't talk, he replies that Vidya is illiterate. However, Sagar says that he will teach Vidya English. Surili then asks Vidya how much money she had taken to marry a madman like Sagar! Surili introduces Sheel as her fianc o Sagar. Sagar feels bad when Surili brushes him aside later. Vidya assures Sagar that she is still around for him and is his friend. A drunken Surili then falls on Kartik, while Mahua and Sindoora look on shocked. Surili tells Uma that there is only one thing that she hates about the party, and that is Vidya, the illiterate village bumpkin! She belittles Vidya but just then, Aniket reminds her that because Vidya is a well-mannered girl she became Sagar's wife! Surili then goes to the dais and announces that she wants to reveal a juicy truth about the family. Sindoora looks stunned!
