Bharat is about to tell everyone the truth but is interrupted by Tushar's voice. They rush to the room and are shocked to see Sagar trying to attack Tushar. Cheenu and Aniket overpower him. The doctor sedates Sagar and says that he should be admitted to a mental asylum because he can prove dangerous not just to himself but to others as well. Vidya promises to tend to Sagar but the family convinces her to send Sagar to the asylum. Vidya is shattered and asserts that Sagar will not go to a mental asylum. Later, when Shalu calls Sagar insane, Bharat retorts that Sagar is not a madman! Shalu tells him that a person in a mental asylum is kept enchained, beaten and even given an electric shock. Meanwhile, the doctor informs the family that it appears as though Sagar has stopped having the medicines and needs to be admitted to a mental hospital at the earliest. Vidya asserts that she will not send Sagar because she is his wife and will make the decision for him. However, Sagar pushes her and pretends to get very agitated. Bharat asks Sagar for how long he must remain quiet. Sagar tells him that he wants to see Vidya happy and asks him never to break his promise. Tushar suggests that they send Sagar to the asylum without Vidya knowing about it. Aniket informs everyone that Sagar will be taken away next morning.
