A dejected Sagar looks at the sky and asks his deceased father whom he should believe and what the truth is. Vidya comes then and says that she never went to the lakeside in the morning but Sagar says that he had certainly seen her. He tells Vidya that Sindoora is right about her being a bad girl because she never loved him! Vidya asks him to only listen to what his heart says and she would accept his verdict. Tushar comes just then and promises to go to any length to help her. Vidya returns to the camp with Sagar and Tushar, and when she goes to serve dinner, everybody taunts and scorns at her. Vidya is devastated. Tushar asks Sagar whether he is certain that it was Vidya he had seen, so Sagar replies that he is. Surili overhears and is thrilled! However, she suddenly recalls leaving her sari and blouse in the jungle, so she goes to find it. She bumps into a tree and yelps. Vidya hears the shout and goes to the jungle. When Vidya calls out to her, Surili is stunned. Surili lies that she has lost her way and when Vidya offers to help, Surili brushes her off. She then bumps into Sindoora and lies that she had only come for a stroll. Sindoora wonders if Surili had made a blunder again. On the other hand, Vidya sees a sari lying on the ground similar to the one that she is wearing. She is stunned! Vidya realises that Sagar must have seen someone else and blamed her for pushing Samir.
