Sagar gets upset and asks Vidya why they must separate. He swears that Samir is not his child. He tells Vidya that Surili is not a nice girl, and is furious with her. Sagar mentions to Vidya that they can never be apart because she is his friend, his wife. Shalu and Hema, along with Mahua and Chandra, try to guess whether Samir is indeed Sagar's child. Aniket and Sindoora overhear. Aniket is furious that his own family members were talking loosely and cautions Sindoora that they will be disgraced if the result is positive. Harsh warns Sindoora that Surili has brought a storm with her because she has brought an heir for the family. He asks her what her plight will be then! Sindoora retorts that Vidya will be left nowhere because the one who begets an heir becomes the mistress of the house. Sindoora further warns Harsh that even he will be left with nothing! Meanwhile, Surili phones the doctor and asks him to distort the records to prove that Samir is indeed Sagar's child. She promises to give him a lot of money. The doctor announces that Samir is indeed Sagar's child. Everyone is shocked! Sagar vehemently denies the report but Surili asserts that Samir is their child. Surili stages a charade and says that she seeks no share in the inheritance and all she wanted was to prove the truth to the family. She is about to leave when Aniket tells her that they have got only one report, and the other one is awaited. Surili is stunned!
