Meenakshi's in-laws prove her to be a witch and an occultist burns her alive. After learning the truth, the occultist evokes Meenakshi's spirit to tell her about a way to achieve salvation.

Keshav's family comes to take Meena home but she tries to avoid it. On the way, she gets off the car in order to flee. Soon, she arrives near the banyan tree where Meenakshi's spirit resides.

Keshav's mother is upset about Meena's behaviour with Sintu, and Asha decides to teach Meena a lesson. Meena visits her friend Jyoti. Keshav visits home with a bride who looks like Meena.

Dadi performs the post-wedding rituals of Meena and Keshav. Asha calls Sintu but Hemkant answers the phone. Keshav sides with Meena. Hemkant returns home with Sintu's corpse.

Asha holds Meena responsible for Sintu's death. Keshav's mother asks Meena's father to take her home. Meena cautions Keshav and tells him about eclipse. At night, Meena goes to the forest.

Meenakshi takes Meena's form after getting Meena's bridal dress in a forest. Keshav arrives there in search of Meena. Meenakshi arrives at Meena's in-laws' house in her form.

Asha abuses Meenakshi when she returns home but she keeps her cool. The police arrest Meenakshi on the charge of Sintu's murder. Keshav visits the police station to meet Meenakshi.

Keshav's family hires a lawyer against Meena. At the police station, Meenakshi decides to fight Meena's fate. The police call Meena's father as an eyewitness, which shocks Keshav and Meenakshi.

Meena's father disowns her in front of the police. Keshav's grandmother opposes Bhagwan's decision to get Meena punished. Later, Meena's testimony during the hearing surprises everyone.

In the court, Meenakshi denies the allegations against her. Bhagwan assures Asha that the forensic report will expose the culprit. Meenakshi is proven innocent as the fingerprints do not match.

Keshav asks Meenakshi why she escaped the forensic report. His family gets supicious of Meenakshi. Later, Meenakshi and Keshav come home, but Keshav's family wants to oust Meenakshi from the house.

Keshav starts leaving with Meenakshi as the family does not accept her. Dadi comes there and stops them. Asha instigates Keshav's mother. Meanwhile, Meena enjoys a party with her friends.

Keshav's mother decides to starve and forces him to oust Meenakshi from the house. Keshav asks Meenakshi for her support in the struggle to unite his family. Later, Meenakshi receives Meena's call.

Meena asks Meenakshi for money. Jyoti sees Meena stealing money and asks her to stay away from Deepak. Keshav's mother's state deteriorates because of starvation and Meenakshi asks her for a chance.

Asha turns Keshav's mother against Meena and scolds Meenakshi when she asks for permission to make tea. Meenakshi looks after Dadi. Lord asks Keshav to choose one between the family and Meena.

Bhagwan loses his patience after seeing Keshav's mother unconscious. Meenakshi secretly heals Keshav's mother, but Asha takes credit for it. Later, Meenakshi decides to tell Keshav the truth.

Meenakshi takes her real form to tell Keshav the truth, but he remains unconscious. Keshav's mother slaps Meenakshi and blames her for Keshav's state. Later, Dadi empowers Meenakshi.

Keshav's mother breaks the hunger strike by having Meenakshi's first dish. She gets Meenakshi to promise that she will fulfil the duties of Keshav's wife. Meenakshi asks for a promise in return.

Hemkant gives Keshav a 'paan' for the nuptial night. Asha suggests Keshav's mother a way to separate Meenakshi and Keshav. Keshav's mother and Meenakshi ask for a promise from each other.

Asha brings a glass of milk for Keshav, and gives it to Meenakshi. Keshav gets close to Meenakshi, but because of her promise, remains distant. Asha prays that Meenakshi leaves the house.

Asha turns Unkant against Meenakshi. Keshav tells Unkant about Meenakshi's wish. Asha suggests Bhagwan to take Moni Baba's help. Meenakshi accidentally adds spice to the milk for Bablu.

Asha asks Meenakshi to read the box of spice and explain it to her. She asks Keshav to take Guruji's help to exorcise Meenakshi. Asha takes Bablu to Meenakshi for his English studies.

Asha tells Meenakshi to teach Bablu English, but she gives excuses, which makes Asha suspicious. Meenakshi tells Keshav that she does not know English. Sujha and Bujha suggest Meenakshi to be patient.

Asha sends Bablu to bring Meenakshi where the family is present. Later, Asha gives Meenakshi Bablu's English book and asks her to read it. Meenakshi starts reading it, which shocks Asha.

Meenakshi learns that she was able to read English with Sujha's help. Dadi scolds Keshav's mother and Asha for asking Meenakshi to mop. Meenakshi tells Keshav that she will fulfil his mother's wish.
