Iron Man aka Robert Downey Jr. shares a close and beautiful bond with Hollywood actress and MCU star Gwyneth Paltrow. In the Iron Man and Avengers films, they played each other’s partners, Tony Stark and Pepper Potts. The actress was last seen alongside him in the 2019 film Avengers: Endgame. Paltrow and Downey Jr. are also pals because Paltrow is close with Susan, Downey Jr’s wife.

“Kissing my brother”, admits Paltrow

We’re all aware of Robert and Gwyenth’s friendship, but it doesn’t imply they enjoy everything about each other. Fans will be disappointed to learn that Paltrow did not like being kissed on-screen by Downey Jr. She described it as one of the worst experiences of her career in one of the podcasts with her friend Kate Hudson. She explained that it was strange at first that she had to kiss Robert, and then it grew more stranger because it was literally the same as kissing her brother.

With all the ups and down, Robert Downey Jr and Gwyneth Paltrow continue to adore and enjoy their relationship to this day and it seems this friendship will last long.

In a podcast , the actress, who turned 49 on Monday, discussed her experience shooting intimate sequences with Robert. Paltrow previously expressed her admiration and appreciation for her Iron Man co-star when discussing their chemistry to a news portal. she said, it is obvious that all of the Iron Man and Avengers movies built my friendship with Robert Downey Jr. She also added that she felt like she was able to meet a great, lifelong, motivating companion and friend.

In 2021, Robert Downey Jr. will star in two films: All-Star Weekend, directed by Jamie Foxx, and Sherlock Holmes 3, directed by Dexter Fletcher. The All-Star Weekend’s star cast includes Robert Downey Jr, Ken Jeong, Jessica Szohr, Eva Longoria, and Gerard Butler. Sherlock Holmes will release by the end of December or in the early of 2022.
