Badhaai Ho: Rajkummar Rao And Bhumi Pednekar Starrer Gets A New Release Date; Here’s When It Will Hit The Screens

Since yesterday night, beautiful photographs of Rajkummar Rao and his bride Patralekhaa have flooded the internet, and we can’t get enough of them. However, there is another piece of information that has come to light. Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar wrapped out October by announcing the release date for their debut collaboration, Badhaai Do, which would be released over Republic Day weekend next year. However, it appears like the celebrations will have to wait a few days longer, as the film’s production has revealed a new release date for the picture, which has been pushed back to February 4, 2022.

Recently the Shubh Mangal Saavdhaan actress took to her Instagram account to post the release date of ‘Badhaai Ho.’ She also shared her excitement for the upcoming release of the family film and expressed the hope that she would see her fans soon. The whole Badhaai Do crew has remained tight-lipped about the film’s theme so far, but the producers have assured that it would be an entertaining picture on a pertinent societal topic. However, there have been claims that the film is based on the notion of lavender marriage, in which a man and a woman marry to hide one or both of their real sexual orientations, which is a socially taboo subject.

Rajkummar Rao will portray a cop in the film, while Bhumi will portray a physical education instructor, according to previous reports. The film is directed by Hunterr’s Harshvardhan Kulkarni and is a sequel to Ayushmann Khurrana’s Badhaai Ho, which starred Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Surekha Sikri, and Sanya Malhotra.
