Sooryavanshi: Akshay Kumar And Katrina Kaif Starrer Continue To Roar At Box-office; Rohit Shetty Directorial Likely To Enter Rs. 200 Crore Club

Sooryavanshi is the recently released film directed by Rohit Shetty. The film starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the lead role is making noise at the ticket window since it got a theatrical release on November 5. The audience is making sure that they visit the cinema halls and watch the film. The cop universe film is receiving love from the viewers and even from the film critics. Now, even after three weeks of its release, Sooryavanshi is creating buzz.

According to the reports of the leading portal, Sooryavanshi has been maintaining a strong game at the box-office and has witnessed a huge outcome. The cop drama has issued Rs 12 crore in the third weekend following which the total collection for Sooryavanshi has reached Rs 178 crore. The second week had witnessed a drop in collection by 62% and it is expected to be in the same range in the third week. Interestingly, if Sooryavanshi manages to keep up with this growth, it is likely to enter the Rs 200 crore club in the coming days.

Speaking more of the film, Sooryavanshi also starred Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh in cameo appearances. They reprised the roles of cops that they played in Singham and Simmba respectively. They played the role of Bajirao Singham and Sangram Bhalerao respectively in their films. The film was slated for release earlier but the COVID-19 pandemic affected the release. As soon as the Chief Minister of Maharastra announced that the theatres in the state will be reopened, Rohit Shetty was quick to announce Sooryavanshi.

The songs from the film, its action, and drama have robbed the hearts of the audience. Till now, Sooryavanshi has entered its third week in theatres and has continued to remain as the audience’s first choice. Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Sidhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh starrer Bunty Aur Babli 2 also got released. But the Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer film experience the audience’s souvenir.
