Siddhant Chaturvedi Returns To Silver Screen After Gully Boy With Bunty Aur Babli 2; We Kinda Missed Him, Did You?

Yash Raj Films’ Bunty Aur Babli 2, which is set to release worldwide on 19 November 2021, is an out-and-out comedy starring Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and the beautiful debutant Sharvari. The film is about two sets of con artists called Bunty and Babli.

Produced by YRF Films, the makers are set to release its first song, Tattoo Waaliye, which is said to be the biggest song shot by the Indian film industry during the pandemic! Tattoo Waaliye is sung by Neha Kakkar and Pardeep Singh S. Tattoo Waaliye is Siddhant and Sharvari’s first dance track of their film career.

The song is special for Siddhant and he says that Tattoo Waaliye is a memorable song for him because it is my first ever dance number in a film. It also presents him as a commercial Hindi film hero.

Siddhant’s co-star Saif Ali Khan says that it was heartbreaking that the nation went into a lockdown just when they were to shoot and were well-rehearsed for Tattoo Waaliye. He added that the YRF team did not dismantle the set for a full year and as soon as the permission was granted for shoots to begin, they were all excited and went on to shoot the song. Saif says it is the biggest song shot by the industry during the pandemic.

Rani too said that they were excited to be back on the sets to shoot Tattoo Waaliye and YRF took all the necessary precautions to shoot the song. The entire team was quarantined in a hotel for about 14 days before the shoot.

Siddhant, who is back after a long gap post-Gully Boy says that they were locked in and “We couldn’t go home till they completed the shoot. He says that shooting Tattoo Waaliye was a step towards reviving the industry and the entire team was excited. He says that that’s what makes Tattoo Waaliye a really special song.

Bunty Aur Babli 2 is being directed by Varun V. Sharma and Siddhant Chaturvedi and debutant Sharvari play the new Bunty and Babli respectively in the sequel. We are very excited to see the talented Siddhant Chaturvedi back on screen!
