Movie Clash: Salman Khan’s Antim To Lock Horns With John Abraham’s Satyameva Jayate 2 At Box Office?

Salman Khan’s upcoming film Antim is directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and is the remake of a Marathi film Mulshi Pattern. The dhamakedar teaser and the song have already had the fans swooning over the storyline. The wait seems really long until the final release date is announced.

According to a news portal, after watching rushes of ‘Antim’, Salman Khan Mahesh Manjrekar felt the need to add more sequences to the action entertainer. Considering this change, the post production and editing of ‘Antim’ will be pushed further and hence they have reportedly zeroed in on a fresh release date.

A source has revealed that the release date of the film has been pushed to November 26 2021. However, an official news is awaited from the team members of the film. Antim is currently in the last leg of editing. With the movie halls in Maharashtra set to reopen later this month, the team is eyeing a theatrical release on November 26

After returning from the international schedule of Tiger 3, Salman filmed some solo dialogue scenes between October 4 and 6. The decision to add more sequences, featuring the actor, was taken jointly by Salman and Mahesh after seeing the rushes of the gangster-cop drama. The film narrates the story of a cop, played by Salman Khan, who is chasing a village youth-turned-gangster, essayed by Aayush Sharma.

One common thing between Satyameva Jayate 2 and Antim is that both Salman and John are going to play the ‘no-nonsense’ cop role. This is going to be a thriller fight between movies which the audience is excited to see.

Salman had a busy schedule with his back to back shoots of Tiger 3, Bigg Boss Season 15, and Antim’s extra solo sequences. The actor had also recently visited Mannat to meet Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan amid their son Aryan Khan’s arrest. He was there for a while and then left after some time.
