Comedian Kapil Sharma Summoned By Crime Branch Mumbai In Dilip Chhabria Case

On January 7, Thursday, comedian Kapil Sharma was spotted at the Crime Branch office of Mumbai Police. The actor arrived at the location in order to record his statement in the case against car designer Dilip Chhabria. Kapil Sharma had filed a forgery case against Dilip Chhabria for allegedly cheating him. Read ahead for more details on Kapil Sharma vs Dilip Chhabria forgery case.

 Kapil Sharma summoned by Crime Branch Mumbai on Thursday

Ahead of recording his legal statement with Crime Branch office of Mumbai Police, Kapil Sharma was bordered by several reports asking him to comment on the case. Talking to the media, Kapil Sharma explained, “Ek case tha meri vanity van ka jo humne 2017 mein order kari thi. Fir hume pata chala ki jinko humne order diya tha, so unko police ne kisi aur bhi case mein arrest kiya. Toh unhone usi statement ke liye hume yaha pe bhulaya tha, kyuki mene bhi ek complaint file kiya hua tha, so bas usi ke regarding iss statement ke liye aya tha”. In the above statement, Kapil Sharma told the media that in 2017, he had ordered a vanity van from Dilip Chhabria and during the same time he also learned about the latter’s old cases and police summoned Kapil Sharma to record an official statement regarding the same.

On seeing the media, Kapil Sharma was surprised and even cracked a joke about the same. One of the reports also asked Kapil that how much amount was paid to Dilip by him. However, the comedian diminished the question by making fun of the reporter. He said that if I tell you the amount will you pay me and left for the statement recording. Kapil Sharma was spotted wearing a blue quirky sweatshirt. He also sported a cap and over-sized frame sunglasses. Kapil also followed all safety norms by wearing a mask.
