Ahaa Re: The Biggest of Bangla Blockbusters

Ahaa Re, a commendable Bengali drama movie, is the third feature film of eminent filmmaker Ranjan Ghosh. The story's presentation, the setting, the powerful acting, and the remarkably restrained plot made this one of the greatest Bengali movies.

The Ahaa Re movie is full of drama, tinged with love and romance. The romantic film revolves around Farhaz Raja (Arifin Shuvoo). He is a top chef from Bangladesh, falling in love with a middle-class Indian woman Basundhara (Rituparna Sengupta).

Ahaa Re Movie Basic Details

Ranjan Gosh wrote the movie, and the producer of the movie is Rituparna Sengupta. Rituparna has also played one of the lead casts of the Ahaa Re movie as Basundhara.

Ahaa Re movie's other lead cast comprises Arifin Shuvoo as Farhaz Raja. Amrita Chattopadhyay as Shahida (Farhaz's girlfriend), Paran Bandopadhyay as Atanu Ganguly (Basundhara's father-in-law), and Deepankar De as Abhijit Sen (Farhaz's stepfather).

Ahaa Re Movie Plot

The story starts with a handsome young boy from Dhaka, Bangladesh, Farhaz Raja (Arifin Shuvoo), often known as Raja. He is a well-known chef who later accepts a job in Kolkata at a restaurant owned by his college friend.

In India, he meets Basundhara (Rituparna Sengupta), a middle-aged woman who owns a family catering business. The movie continues with the two developing a bond over food experimentation. With an open and outgoing nature, Raja quickly develops a close relationship with Basundhara's family (her father and younger brother). Over time, Raja finds himself falling in love with Basundhara. However, he soon realizes that she would not accept him because of the typical societal barriers of age and religion.

Ahaa Re movie completely presents an outlook of examining food from two halves of Bengal and bringing a true love story from the end.

The Performance of the Ahaa Re Cast

The overall story was perfectly acted and filmed. Rituparna Sengupta as Basundhara has stolen the limelight in the film. Rituparna has portrayed Basundhara's introverted character, who does not display her emotions publicly. However, towards the end, there is a scene where she loses it and expresses her feelings. She has displayed her emotions clearly, not restricting the audience from praising her skills. She defines the concepts of nurture, love, nourishment, kindness, and fondness through her act.

Overall, Rituparna Sengupta is a superb performer and has depicted the character of Basundhara with delicate emotional features. Alongside, Faraz played an eminent role in the movie. He has expressively acted in each scene.

His brilliant and natural acting was extraordinary in the movie. He has put so much professionalism and love into every single frame of cooking a meal or even just getting ready. His humor in the different scenes adds a lot to the overall movie.
