For Marvel fans, having Eternals feel like a distinct genre from the rest of the MCU will be thrilling. New tones and genres have emerged in recent MCU productions, such as Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, which is a martial arts film. While Marvel Studios has already dabbled in the cosmic realm with Guardians of the Galaxy, Eternals appears to priorities science fiction above superhero cliches. The film will still feature aspects from comic books, but it will provide audiences with a new experience.

Eternals will undoubtedly lead the charge in the post-Avengers MCU, which is investigating more people, times, and locales than ever before.
