While promoting his 2010 film My Name is Khan on an English broadcast chat program, Shah Rukh Khan was questioned by the host as to why he didn’t become a part of Slumdog Millionaire, which introduced Western fans to Bollywood-style filmmaking. To this, the actor replied how keen he was to be a part of the production because of very friendly terms with Danny Boyle (director) and also due to the interesting storyline. The only thing the veteran actor was not okay with was that the game show host in the movie is a bit of a ‘cheat’.
