MET Gala 2021: Megan Fox to Rihanna the red carpet saw sheer to pure gold outfits

The fashion’s biggest night out took social media by storm. The most sought-after celebrities in the industry walked the Met Gala red carpet to make most of the theme that was “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion”.

In a shinny alert appearance at the  MET Gala 2021 in New York City, Megan Fox walked the red carpet without her boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly. Donning a shimmery red lace-up dress by Dundas with a high leg slit. With classic make-up and the hair was done into a braid with baby bangs.

Rihanna’s late appearance

Rihanna and ASAP Rocky arrived as a couple at the Met Gala 2021. It was their debut as a couple on the red carpet! Riri had announced on Instagram that she would be hosting the after-party to the fashion extravaganza. They turned fashionably late and made quite an appearance. Rihanna and ASAP Rocky donned dramatic looks as they wore long baggy coats to the MET Gala 2021.

Elliot Page’s first big red carpet appearance

Transgender actor Elliot Page made his first big red carpet appearance after he came out as transgender in December last year. Elliot Page graced the event with a Balenciaga, paired casually with sneakers. He spiced up the look with a green brooch.

Lil Nas X in gold and Lady Gaga

In Met Gala 2019, Lady Gaga wore multiple outfits, one beneath the other and she revealed each in quick succession live at the fashion gala. Two years later, rapper Lil Nas X pulled a Lady Gaga again. He wore 3 outfits to this year’s Met Gala. This is the rapper’s first Met Gala experience and he surely made it count, with outfits of gold shades!

Kendall Jenner hits the MET Gala 2021 like an angel from heaven

Kendall Jenner looked like a goddess and proved her supermodel abilities yet once again as she landed(perhaps from heaven) at the MET Gala dressed in a sheer Givenchy gown. It was embellished with glittering rhinestones as the theme was American Fashion. The dress also included jewel-embellished sleeves and a choker.

Another honorable mention is Billie Ellish who also dressed up in a beautiful peach coloured gown by Oscar de la Renta. This mega event is the talk not of the town but of the world now and the various looks are going viral as we speak!
