Dune, which has been premiered on October 20, barely lost 12% of its audience inside its second weekend. As per statistics the Korean Cinema Authority’s box office monitoring service, it earned $2.25 million for just a weeklong total of $6.86 million.

Neither of the scores reflected the kinds of performances that helped South Korea become the fourth biggest ticket sales market on the planet in 2019.
