In the B-Town industry, Shah Rukh Khan is recognized by numerous names: fans call him King Khan, his close friends call him Shah Bhai, his closest ones call him Shah, and some of his die-hard followers still call him Raj (from DDLJ). But did you know that Shah Rukh Khan was known as Mail Gaadi in school? Shah Rukh Khan, who grew up in Delhi and is fond of reminiscing about his school days, was known as Mail Gaadi at school. The actor even disclosed why his moniker was associated with a train in a nostalgic interview with our magazine. Mail Gaadi, he said, since he used to run as fast as an express train. It was also due to the fact that his hair used to stick out in the front.

SRK also mentioned in the interview how naughty he was at school, causing problems for several of his teachers. He once persuaded his chemistry instructor to award him high grades by comparing him to her son. He also frequently pretended to have epilepsy. He would pass out in class, and the professors would have to remove their shoes so he could smell them. He fainted once when he got a new teacher, and the other students told him that if he didn’t give me the suede shoes he was wearing, he would die. He had to go about barefoot for the rest of the day. That’s taking pranks to a whole new level.

Although the celebrity has begun filming on his forthcoming projects, it is not without complications. According to a news portal report, a source close to the Khan family has told them that SRK has asked to maintain film schedules outside India in little chunks, rather than one major schedule, and to allow him to travel home every couple of weeks for a few days.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will shortly restart production on YRF’s Pathan. In Mumbai, he will shoot with Deepika Padukone on a limited scale. This is Shah Rukh Khan’s return film after his previous appearance in Zero in 2018. Deepika Padukone and John Abraham will also play key parts in the film helmed by Siddharth Anand.
