Singer and music composer Vishal Dadlani lost his father Moti Dadlani revealed in an Instagram picture weeks ago, a day before his dad’s death, that he had tested positive for COVID-19. “This is for anyone who has contacted me during the last week or ten days. After his late father, Moti Dadlani’s cremation on January 15, 2022, music composer Vishal Dadlani wrote a heartfelt memorial. On January 8, 2022, Vishal’s father died. My Father was cremated today by my Mother, Sister, nieces, and me. The musician had notified his friends and supporters of his father died last week, saying, “Last night, I lost my dearest friend, the loveliest and kindest man on the planet. I couldn’t have asked for a greater Father or for someone to be my life’s instructor. Anything nice in me is but a sliver of him. He’d been in ICU for the last 3/4 days (due to a botched gall bladder surgery), but I couldn’t visit him after I tested positive for Covid. I can’t even go comfort my Mother in her hour of need. It’s not even close to being equitable.”
