Maari 17 November 2023 Written Update : Maari Condemns Tara

In the previous episode of Maari, Tara convinces Jagdish that she will speak to Surya to forgive Jasmine. Jasmine gets irked when her plan to kill Maari and her unborn baby fails. Aravind tries to think of a plan to harm Maari when Sreeja informs Tara about Neelakantan’s visit and about Karpaga Rakshambal Puja. Jasmine assures Tara that she will seek revenge on Maari. The next day, Maari is surprised to see the house decorated and questions Neelakantan. She is surprised when Neelakantan tells her that Surya has made the arrangements for the puja. Neelakantan is pleased to see Surya’s love for Maari. Surya welcomes Jagdish and the family for the puja. Hasini and Jagdish are pleased to learn that Surya has made the arrangements. Tara argues with Neelakantan when he says that he will perform a similar puja for Sreeja some other time. Neelakantan tells Tara the significance of screw pine flowers for the puja. Surya checks the garlands when Jagdish tells about tiny snakes hiding in it.  Thereafter, Tara and Jasmine meet the snake charmer and seek his help

In the next episode of Maari, Sreeja tries to steal the garland and gives the garland to Tara, who in turn gives it to the snake charmer. As instructed by Tara, the snake charmer hides the snake in the garland. Tara is happy when the snake charmer tells her about the snake’s poison. Tara, then tells Sreeja to keep the garland back in its place.

Maari begins with the puja with a devotional song to please the goddess. Neelakantan tells Surya to put the screw pine flowers garland around Maari’s neck. Tara and Jasmine eagerly await to see Maari’s death. But they fail to realise that Maari is blessed with divine power. The vermillion applied by Surya on Maari, falls on the snake, killing it instantly. Tara is taken aback and is confused when Maari remains safe. Maari and Surya seek the elders’ blessings. Sreeja gets irked when Sankarapandi laments for not getting married.

Maari stops Neelakantan and tells him to eat food as he decides to return to the village. Tara and Jasmine are taken aback when the snake charmer tells them that the snake is dead. The duo are all the more surprised when the snake charmer claims that Maari is divinely blessed. Maari overhears Tara and Jasmine and lashes out at them for trying to kill her unborn baby. Tara scolds Maari when she threatens to expose her in front of Surya. Tara challenges Maari that she will not allow her baby to take birth.
