Anjali Arrives Late to Welcome the Minister
A minister, Prataprao Gaikwad, arrives at his village with his younger son, Suraj, who is also known as Sunny. Sunny's wife, Nandita, is an arrogant lady. Nandita's servant, Chanda, hates Godakka, a sincere servant in the Gaikwad house. Prataprao's elder son, Ranvijay, who is known as Rana, is a wrestler and follows celibacy. The village school principal, Mahajan, chides Anjali, a teacher, for arriving late to greet Prataprao. Nandita tries to stop Anjali from welcoming Prataprao in his house.

Nandita tries to stop Anjali from welcoming Prataprao inside his house. Prataprao allows Anjali to welcome him, which offends Nandita. Mahajan asks Anjali to apologise to Nandita. On Nandita's orders, Chanda asks Mahajan and Anjali to wait near the Gaikwad house. Prataprao realises that Nandita made Anjali wait near the Gaikwad house for the whole day. He asks Nandita to apologise to Anjali. Nandita apologises to Anjali and tells her that she too will make Anjali apologise to her.

Prataprao Asks Rana to Consider Getting Married
An inebriated Sunny arrives home. Prataprao asks Rana to consider getting married. Nandita informs Sunny about being insulted. She urges Sunny to ask Prataprao the reason for insulting her. Nandita decides to leave her house as Sunny fails to speak to Prataprao about her humiliation. Rana apologises to Nandita for being the reason for her discomfort. He promises Nandita that she will always be respected in their house. Nandita asks Rana to get the gold chain that Prataprao gave to Anjali.

Mahajan chides Anjali for advising him to be lenient towards the students. Narsingh, Rana's trainer, encourages him to win 'Hind Kesri', a prestigious wrestling competition. Rana thinks about Anjali during his training session. Prataprao and Sunny leave the village for some work. Nandita reminds Rana to get the gold chain back from Anjali. Rana arrives near the school where Anjali teaches and thinks of a way to meet her. However, he runs away when Anjali sees him.

Chanda and Nandita fail to learn from Godakka the reason Prataprao and Sunny went out of the village. Nandita tells Godakka that Rana has sworn not to eat food until he gets the chain from Anjali. Chanda comes to the field and reminds Rana of the promise he made to Nandita. Rana follows Anjali and asks her about the gold chain. However, Rana leaves before Anjali gets the chain from her house. Later, Rana gives Anjali two tractors filled with sugarcane in return for the gold chain.

Anjali Decides to Return the Sugarcane to Rana
Rana feels happy about getting the chain back from Anjali. Anjali distributes some of the sugarcane to the students of the school she works at. Chanda tells Nandita that two tractors of sugarcane did not reach their factory. Rana surprises Chanda and Nandita by giving the chain to Nandita. Anjali decides to return the sugarcane to Rana. Rana's friend, Barkat, tells Anjali about Rana's whereabouts. Later, Anjali reaches the wrestling court where Rana trains.

Rana gets punished at the wrestling court after Anjali arrives there. Anjali further asks Rana to take the sugarcane out from her house. Barkat complies with Rana's order of selling the sugarcane and giving the money from the sale to Anjali. Anjali buys a computer for the students of the school she works at. Mahajan invites Nandita for the inauguration of the computer. Later, Anjali tells Nandita that Rana gave Anjali sugarcane and money in return for the gold chain.

Nandita probes some of the employees of the Gaikwads about the two trucks which failed to reach their factory. After learning from the workers that Barkat updates Rana of the accounts, she calls him over and asks him to leave the house on the farm where he stays. Godakka tells Rana that Anjali accused Barkat of theft. After Prataprao, Sunny and Rana arrive home, Nandita pretends to tell Prataprao and Sunny that the two trucks failed to reach the factory because of her mistake.

After Nandita takes the blame of not paying attention to the accounts, Rana tells Prataprao that Nandita is not at fault and that he knew about the missing trucks. Rana asks Nandita to take charge of the accounts. Nandita lies to Rana that she did not ask Barkat to leave his home. Rana reaches the farm and tells Barkat and Godakka that they misunderstood Nandita. Rana helps Anjali's mother carry the flour box to her house. Anjali's student arrives at her house and asks her to meet Mahajan.

Nandita asks some of the kids the reason behind teasing Rana. The kids tell her that Anjali gave sweets to Rana. Rana tells Prataprao that he shares his concerns with his bullock, Sahebrao. Nandita tells Chanda that she will not let Rana get married. Anjali's students ask her to accompany them to their friend's farm. Mahajan tells Anjali that she can accompany the students to a farm after school hours. Anjali and her students come to Rana's farm, and Rana jumps into the well as he sees Anjali.

Barkat asks Anjali to wait far away from the well. Prataprao gives the responsibility of Rana's wedding to Nandita. Nandita tells a goon, Shivappa, to obtain money from Anjali's family in return for the sugarcane. Anjali's friend, Renu, meets her at Rana's farm. Rana decides to show his farm to Anjali and her students, and Anjali's bracelet gets stuck to Rana's shirt. Meanwhile, Shivappa reaches Anjali's house and demands INR one lakh from her parents.

After having food, Anjali and her students leave Rana's farm. Barkat tells Rana that Rana is in love. Anjali tells her mother that she had been to Rana's farm along with her students. Anjali's mother tells her that Rana had sent a goon to their house to obtain money from them in exchange for the sugarcane that Rana had gifted Anjali. Anjali decides to maintain her distance from Rana. Anjali and her father plan to apply for a loan to repay Rana. Rana fails to concentrate at the wrestling court.

Rana leaves his house without having any food, much to Nandita's surprise. Rana tells Barkat that he can hear the sound of Anjali's bracelet. Rana reaches Anjali's house only to find the door locked. Anjali gets a loan and decides to give the money to Rana. Rana spots Shivappa in his house and gets furious. Anjali meets Narsingh, who blames her for Rana's indifference towards wrestling. Later, near the school, Rana asks one of Anjali's students to return the bracelet to her.

Mahajan arrives at the Gaikwad house. Nandita keeps the school computer at the house and tells Mahajan that it was bought using the Gaikwads' money. At Anjali's home, Anjali's mother tells her that the goon had come to their house again. Rana meets Anjali, who scolds him for sending a goon to her house to ask for money. Anjali's mother explains the goon's appearance to Rana. Later, Rana beats Shivappa after realising that he has threatened Anjali's family.

Rana arrives at Anjali's house along with Shivappa. He asks Shivappa to apologise to Anjali's father and to keep the computer at her house. Rana believes that Anjali is annoyed with him because he lost her bracelet. Rana decides to talk to Anjali. Anjali tells Mahajan that Rana gave the computer to her. Rana hides and runs away when Anjali spots him near the school.

Mahajan asks Anjali to bring a written document from Rana stating that he has given the computer to the school. Anjali arrives near the wrestling court, and Narsingh requests her to stop coming to the court. Later, Anjali tells Rana that Mahajan requires a written document from him which will state that Rana has donated the computer to the school.

Anjali's father spots Rana's letter outside the house and gives it to Anjali. Later, Anjali tells her parents that Rana has written an official letter to her.

Rana promises Godakka that he will get married the following year. Nandita states to Rana that he should get married but then tries to provoke him against the idea. Nandita tells Chanda about the incident that occurred on the farm after finding Rana. Prataprao tries to convince Rana to get married. At the Gaikwad house, Mahajan tells Prataprao that he had asked Anjali to get an authorisation letter from Anjali. Rana promises Prataprao that he will get married. Anjali arrives at the Gaikwad house and meets Prataprao, who praises Anjali for getting a computer in the school. Chanda tells Nandita that Prataprao seems impressed with Anjali.
