While the house of the Shuklas is buzzing with activity as Avni's engagement is is nearing, Murlimohan Shukla is surrounded by men who are eager to learn their future which Murlimohan seems to be revealing to them all after having a look at their palms. Meanwhile his wife, Shanthi is running around the house looking for her granddaughter Bhoomi who is supposed to help Avni get ready. Avni's in-laws, the Prajapatis arrives at Murlimohan Shukla's home but refuse to enter the house until Vasundhara Prajapati reaches the place. Meanwhile, Bhoomi is worried as she has got a job in Indore where she cannot go without her family's permission. She is afraid that her family will not let her go to Indore. Later Bhoomi is on her way back home with her friend Roshni, on her scooty. On the way they meet with a small accident with a jeep in which Vasundhara Prajapati is seated along with her family. Roshni and Vasundhara get into a brawl but Bhoomi who has mud all over her face stops her friend and asks her to hurry home. Bhoomi is disheartened to know that her grandmother Shanthi is not interested in her job and she strictly warns her against doing a job in Indore. As Bhoomi continues to weep in her room, her 'bauji' enters the room with a gift for her and she is surprised to find a laptop in it. He assures her that he will be by her side in her every decision that she makes. Meanwhile, Surbi and Varun are busy talking on the phone and flirting with each other.
