At the hospital, Dr Anand punishes nurse Niyati for celebrating a patient's birthday. Niyati's parents hide the truth of her past. On the way, Abhimanyu helps Niyati and drops her home.

Abhimanyu, who has not returned home for six months, calls up his mother. Later, he runs into Niyati again. At the hospital, Abhimanyu slaps Dr Anand for misbehaving with a destitute woman.
Abhimanyu's Behaviour Shocks Niyati
Abhimanyu confesses his love to Niyati. Abhimanyu's mother Manorama visits the hospital to look for him. Upset with Sulochna's anger, Niyati slaps Abhimanyu and his strange behaviour shocks her.
Abhimanyu Decides to Leave the City
Niyati feels sorry for slapping Abhimanyu and looks for him everywhere. Manorama asks Niyati to save Abhimanyu. Later, Abhimanyu tells Niyati that he is leaving the city.

Upon learning the truth about Abhimanyu, Ram approves Niyati and Dr. Anand’s relationship. Abhimanyu expresses his feelings to Manorama and states a wish. Ram urges Sulochana to forget Niyati’s past.

Ram tells Niyati to agree to marry Dr Anand. Mr Singh, the hospital’s trustee, pressurises Niyati to take up the responsibility of Abhimanyu’s treatment. Niyati tells Ram and Sulochana about this.

Abhimanyu feels guilty when he learns that he had tried to kill Niyati. Gajendra hatches a conspiracy to stop Niyati's marriage and invites her to meet him alone.
