Aryan Khan Case: Sanjay Gupta Criticises Bollywood’s Silence On Shah Rukh Khan’s Son’s Arrest

Sanjay Gupta, the famous filmmaker, producer, and screenwriter condemns the way Bollywood has paid no heed to the crisis Shah Rukh Khan and his family are going through amid his son Aryan Khan being accused by NCB in a Drug case. Aryan Khan has been in judicial custody since October 3rd, 2021, and has been denied bail.

Sharukh Khan has been a superstar of Bollywood for two decades and more. He has been instrumental in supporting the lives of many aspiring individuals in the film fraternity, but at his darkest hour, nobody from the industry has come forth to support him.
Sanjay Gupta, in his latest tweet, has questioned the silence of the film industry in this matter. His tweet is very empathetic and an eye-opener for all those who have been a part of the film industry and those who adulate Shah Rukh Khan.

Sanjay Gupta’s tweet said that SRK has and continues to give jobs and livelihoods to thousands in the film industry. He has always stood up for every cause for the film industry. And the astute silence of the same film industry in his moment of crisis is nothing short of shameful. He had further added, “Aaj uska beta hai, kal mera ya tumhaara hoga… Tab bhi issi buzdalli se chup rahoge??? (Today it is his son, tomorrow it will be mine or yours… will you still maintain this cowardly silence???)”.

There are no second thoughts that, the incident of Aryan Khan being arrested by NCB under drug handling case has shaken the faith of many fans in the morality of the film industry but the fact that Sharukh Khan has dedicated his life to Bollywood and stood by his colleagues at their hour of need reflects that it is very shameful on the part of the Bollywood to not extend their support to him at this hour.
