Akshay Kumar Begins Shooting For His Next Film ‘Prithviraj’

After Sooryavanshi, Akshay Kumar’s newest film will be on the life of Prithviraj Chauhan and he has started the shoot as well. The film stars Sanjay Dutt and Manushi Chillar as well and is going to be a proper historical drama. While Akshay Kumar has started his shoot for the film, the other two actors will soon be joining him. The film will also star Sonu Sood and Manav Vij. This film will be based on a poem called ‘Chand Bardai’ written by Prithviraj Raso.

The makers are said to have done exhaustive research on the subject due to its historical nature. The film is to release on 5th November 2021.

This will be the first time we will see Akshay Kumar work with Manushi Chillar. Fans are excited to see their chemistry together and even more excited to see Akshay Kumar embody Prithviraj Chauhan’s role. This film is produced by Yash Raj Films.  The previous historical role Akshay Kumar was seen in was Prince Bala, in Housefull 4.

The first look of the film came out in September 2019, but due to the pandemic, the film’s shooting came to a halt. Now, it looks like the making is right on track and the film is slated to complete shoot and post-production by November 2021! It is to be seen whether this film will get a theatrical release or not! Other upcoming films of Akshay’s include Rakshabandhan, Ram Setu and Oh My God 2.
