Banu returns home and informs Aajya that she met a sage who told her that soon she would marry Khanderaya. She shows him and Manje the kumkum holder gifted by the sage. On the other hand, Khanderaya asks Naradmuni to inform all about his proposed marriage with Banu. Naradmuni asks Khanderaya, why he is marrying in the Kannad province. Khanderaya tells him that one of his devotees from that province wants to see him. The queen of Naldurga requests her King to let her go to Jejuri to see Khanderaya, but he prohibits her from going there.
