Surajpratap addresses the villagers and says that he is confident nobody can deny that he has always provided justice. However, Suman proclaims that she has been deprived of justice. Jhanvi and her family reveal how atrocities were inflicted by Surajpratap on his eldest daughter-in-law only because some hoodlums had kidnapped her. Jhanvi then brings Bhavna to the dais and reveals to everyone how Surajpratap had removed Bhavna from school only because she is a girl. Finally, Jhanvi shows the villagers the urn containing Ammaji's ashes and exposes him as her murderer! Saraswati and Jhanvi accuse Prakash also of not standing by his wife. Prakash realises his mistake and confesses that he has been a bad husband, fearing his father. He promises to make amends and apologises to Suman. He vows never to let her get humiliated again. Jhanvi tells her father-in-law that he is all alone now. The villagers demand justice from Surajpratap, while Tiwari watches the scenario triumphantly! Tiwari goes up to him and taunts about the honour of his family getting disgraced. Tiwari says that he didn't even touch Suman. Meanwhile, Jhanvi and Nikhil ask Prakash to immerse Ammaji's ashes in the river as he is the eldest son, but Prakash asks Jhanvi to fulfil her promise and release Ammaji's soul by immersing the ashes. However, Surajpratap arrives just then and apologises to his entire family for having wronged them. He seeks forgiveness from Bhavna too for being unjust with her. Bhavna weeps and hugs him. Surajpratap begs his family not to leave him alone. Jhanvi asks him to repent by immersing Ammaji's ashes into the river. Surajpratap performs his wife's last rites and apologises to her. He thanks Jhanvi for teaching him what humanity is. The Garodia family ask Surajpratap not to condemn girls. He agrees and says that women must be worshipped, for a woman is the true strength of a man.
