Nikhil tells Savitri that his family will not agree to his marriage with Jhanvi. When Jhanvi's family talk about traditions, Nikhil says that only Jhanvi matters to him, nothing else. Nikhil requests Savitri to perform the duties of his mother. The marriage gets fixed for the next day. Jhanvi gets dressed as a bride, and Menka gets very emotional. Gauri requests Akash to attend Jhanvi's wedding but he bluntly refuses. However, Gauri is happy to see Akash at the wedding later, so she thanks him. Akash replies that he came only because his mother had asked him to. Jhanvi and Akash's marriage is solemnised. When they return home, Menka voices her concern to Jhanvi about Nikhil and her going to Janakipur but the others put her doubts to rest. The Garodias give gifts to Jhanvi and when Yuvraj is about to give his, Saraswati warns him not to. Gauri requests Saraswati to permit Yuvraj to give his gift. When Yuvraj gives it, she refuses to take it, so Nikhil accepts it. Jhanvi leaves her maternal home with Nikhil. Later, Gauri apologises to Yuvraj because nobody heeded him when he had revealed the truth about Akash. Gauri pleads with him not to tell their family about Akash.
