Aniket tells Uma that for a while he felt as though Sagar was putting on a charade of being insane. The doctor arrives, so Sagar pretends to be excited about going. He promises his mother to take care of himself and asks her not to worry. Sagar runs up to see his room for the last time and bids goodbye to his teddy bear. He tells his teddy bear that Vidya is not happy with him, and takes it also with him. Bharat is shattered looking at all this and runs to Vidya to inform her that Sagar is being taken to the mental asylum. Vidya is stunned and runs home. Sagar pretends to be happy to leave whereas Sindoora is devastated to see him go away. Vidya rushes towards the ambulance but it is too late. Sagar is overwhelmed seeing Vidya run behind the ambulance. An upset Vidya goes home and demands to know from everyone why Sagar cannot be treated at home because she is around to tend to him. Sindoora apologises to Vidya for deceiving her but says that it was necessary for Sagar to get admitted in the asylum. However, Vidya promises to bring Sagar back home!
