Arpita cuts Puchki's hair to spoil her looks. Beauty sets Shantanu's book ablaze and Puchki avenges this by spoiling Beauty's clothes. A pundit calls Puchki jinxed. Puchki asks Arpita a question.

Arpita worries about Puchki's future in the dark world of Sonagachi. Thaku Maa scolds Beauty for trying to sell Puchki off. Shantanu prays for his and Puchki's friendship.

A disguised inspector meets Arpita and tells her about Beauty's ploy to sell off Puchki. Arpita cajoles Puchki and flees from 'Badi' with her. Chanda and Shantanu look for Arpita and Puchki.

Beauty's recruit lets Arpita and Puchki flee. However, Thaku Maa catches them and gets Arpita to do an ordeal. Thaku Maa takes away the responsibility of 'Badi' from Beauty as a punishment.

Fate separates childhood friends Shantanu and Puchki, and when they reunite years later, societal constraints stop them from being together.

Shantanu and Puchki hide to avoid being separated. The people of the 'Badi' look for them, but Puchki falls from the roof and gets injured. Later, the doctor refuses to treat Puchki without money.

Ravindra asks Arindam to send Shantanu back after learning about Nivedita's pregnancy. Arpita's death devastates Puchki. Beauty feels suspicious as Chanda and Puchki prepare to meet Shantanu.

Beauty visits the Majumdars with Puchki to entertain them. Puchki waits there to meet Shantanu, who refuses to acknowledge her because of Nivedita. Puchki's absence worries everyone a the 'badi'.

Neel decides to take Puchki away from Sonagachi. Shantanu tries to pacify Nivedita, who suddenly falls off the stairs. At the hospital, Nivedita delivers her baby but misbehaves with Shantanu.

Beauty and Rana dream about ruling the Pari Mahal. Nivedita asks Arindam to send Shantanu back, but Ravindra stops her. Puchki visits Shantanu's school to meet him but Beauty gets her abducted.

Ravindra gets upset on being humiliated. Thaku Maa refuses to send Puchki to school. Nivedita questions Arindam's character. Beauty sees Arindam with Chanda. Later, Puchki visits Shantanu.
