Devan skilfully deals with his sister-in-law, who tries to insult him. Vaidehi and Madhav give Manthara the paste they prepare. Manthara hits Vaidehi without knowing the truth.

Suhasini decides to get Varun married before Devan’s wedding. Devan takes a photo of Vaidehi on the road. Shreya lies to her family and goes to Jayadev.

Shreya panics on seeing Vaidehi on the road. Manthara hurts Vaidehi, who brings food for her. Devan advises Urmila when she does not tend to Ajay. Shreya goes for an audition.

Jayan takes his brother on a wheelchair to his parents. He warns Indu. Later, Indu mocks Jayan and the latter fights with her.

Varun goes to see the dance show with his grandmother. Shreya does the model shoot. Shreya fails to attend the show, so Vaidehi performs. Varun is smitten by Vaidehi.

Mohanakrishnan asks Vaidehi to light the lamp. However, a few people discourage and insult her by calling her an orphan. Manthara too insults her on similar lines when she gets back home.

Vaidehi hesitates to lie to the family for Shreya. Devan’s family discusses finding a suitable girl for him. Urmila, who reaches there, insults and taunts Ajay for his situation.

Shreya hands her phone to Vaidehi, who receives calls from film actors. However, Janaki Ramavarma takes the phone, thereby unmasking Shreya’s fraud. Vaidehi goes in search of Shreya.

Vaidehi brings Shreya back from Jayadevan’s house. Janaki Ramavarma questions Shreya. Later, he brings a marriage proposal for her. Vaidehi and Devan meet.

Devan basks in Vaidehi’s beauty. He mistakes her name to be Shreya. Devan roughs up Jayadevan, who hurts Vaidehi. Devan imagines himself getting married to Vaidehi.

Madhavan praises Vaidehi's beauty. Indu teases Devan as he expresses his desire in front of Vaidehi's picture. Meanwhile, Vaidehi is overwhelmed by Devan's loving words for her.

Vaidehi hides Shreya’s photos from Janaki Ramavarma. The photo catches fire from the lamp. Devan’s grandmother tells Suhasini that she spotted Devan with Vaidehi’s photo.

Vinayan takes Shreya’s photo. Devan gifts Vaidehi a rose and confesses his love to her. Later, Vinayan shows the photo to Devan’s family.

The astrologer mistakes Devan to have fallen for Shreya. Devan and Vaidehi meet on the way. Devan’s family goes to Janaki Ramavarma’s house to see Shreya.

Vaidehi places the garland, meant for the offering, on the car in which Devan's family arrives. Devan’s family goes with Vaidehi to Janaki Ramavarma’s house. They see Shreya.

Suhasini discusses Devan’s marriage with Varun. Manthara hits Vaidehi for taking Devan’s photo. Devan’s family teases him after getting back home. Shreya refuses to see Devan’s photo.

Indu praises Vaidehi in front of Devan. Shreya tells Jayadevan about the marriage proposal. She tears Devan’s photo. Manthara sees Devan’s torn photo in Vaidehi’s hand and hits her.

Suhasini and her family reach Devan’s house. Vaidehi thinks about Devan. Devan reaches Janaki Ramavarma’s house. Manthara talks non-stop about Shreya to Devan.

Jayadevan prompts Shreya to wear a bikini. Urmila spews hurtful words at Ajay, who corrects Suhasini. Vaidehi dreams about Devan. Vinayan gives Shreya the letter Devan wrote to Vaidehi.

While Devan tells Urmila about his letter to Shreya, Shreya gives Vaidehi the one meant for Devan. He sees Vaidehi at the temple, where he corrects a youngster for wearing footwear on the premises.

Vaidehi realises that Shreya had received a proposal from Devan. Vaidehi hands over Shreya’s letter to Devan and later bursts into tears in front of God. Devan seeks Indu’s help to read the letter.

Janaki Ramavarma conveys his consent to the marriage. Vaidehi shares her woes with god. Varun mocks Urmila over Ajayan. Indu calls on Shreya’s phone.

Shreya speaks to Devan over the phone. Devan’s family goes to Janaki Ramavarma’s house with his proposal. Shreya doubts that Vaidehi hasn’t given Devan the letter she wrote to him.

Devan and Shreya’s parents fix their wedding. Urmila and Suhasini insult Shreya’s family. Vaidehi brings food for Devan and they both share a moment. Urmila asks Vaidehi to pour some water on her hands.
