Suman advises Jhanvi to blindly follow faith and worship the place. Akash brings Gauri to a club and warns her not to spoil his mood because he wants to enjoy. A couple of drunken men try to act fresh with a girl dancing, so Akash gets angry. The men have a nasty fight as Gauril watches helplessly. The bouncers at the club take the hoodlums away. Akash sees the girl and is surprised to see that it is Payal. They embrace each other. Akash tells her that she is the only girl he has ever loved and promises never to let her go away again. Akash and Payal go away. Gauri is shocked! Jhanvi tells Nikhil that if she sees the shadow again, then she will find out the truth. She then tells him that his father goes to pray at night but he manages to evade a direct answer. Nikhil tells her that he was going to the city the next day. Menka feeds Yuvraj his favourite dishes but he has in spite of the doctor having asked him not to, to avoid the family from getting suspicious. Later at night, Jhanvi tells Suman that she is very hungry, so Suman replies that a wife must not eat before a husband does. Jhanvi tells her that man has made these traditions and they must change these faulty customs. She urges Suman also to eat but they are met near their door by their father-in-law. He asks Suman to teach Jhanvi the ways of their house soon so that there is no rebellion. Suman asks Jhanvi not to speak about changing traditions again. Jhanvi sees her father-in-law going out for his prayers late at night again and decides to follow him.
