Nikhil's father-in-law demands to know why Jhanvi had dared to free Bhavna. Jhanvi replies that there is nothing if the little girl had applied lipstick and laughed. Nikhil arrives just then and say that Jhanvi is right. Nikhil and his father argue fiercely. Nikhil's father asserts that only the Head of the house will dictate terms to the women and girls at home. Nikhil's father warns Nikhil to keep women under their thumb, so an angry Nikhil retorts that he will leave the place! Nikhil gets ready to leave but Jhanvi convinces him not to leave. She tells him that his father loves him a lot in spite of their differences. She requests him to apologise to his father. Akash and Gauri reach Goa and he tells her that he will not stay with her in the same hotel and will pick her 2 days later. Yuvraj goes to the doctor to donate his kidney to Kshitij but requests the doctor to not let anyone know who the donor is. The doctor phones Savitri to speak about having found a donor, and she informs Saraswati about it. Nikhil goes to his father and apologises to him for speaking rudely. Nikhil says that he will stay with him. Later at the dinner table, Jhanvi asks Suman why there was no photograph of Nikhil's mother in the house. Prakash gives a lame excuse. Jhanvi goes to call Nikhil's father for dinner but he says that he has to go to perform a religious ceremony. Jhanvi wonders what ceremony he had to perform so late at night and asks Suman about it. Suman is taken aback by the question.
