After meeting Rasik, Menka returns home late in the night and is shocked when she finds Suryakant and the entire Garodia family waiting for her. Menka quickly cooks up a story and tells Suryakant that she had gone to the temple to pray for Niyati's good health and well-being. Though everyone trusts her, Karan isn't convinced. The next day, Karan meets the priest of the temple who tells him that he has not seen Menka for many days. Later, Menka gets tense when Rasik again calls her and demands money. Meanwhile, Rasilibai suggests to Kajri that they oblige to Lakshmi's conditions and leave the Garodia mansion as well as hand over the property to them. Rasilibai further tells Kajri that it is the best way to gain trust from the Garodia family. Kajri does accordingly and hands over the property papers to Suryakant. Kajri tells Suryakant that she does not want to stay in the house where her child is not accepted. After apologising for everything, Kajri bids her adieu to the Garodia family.
