Kshitij does not feel that Damini is the right person to fight Saraswati's case as she has left her practice for almost a decade. Suryakant assures Kshitij that he has confidence in Damini. Later, Damini meets Saraswati, who tells her the details about Bhavishya's atrocious behaviour. Damini later meets all the members of the Garodia family to get more details of the case. However, she is shocked when Kshitij tells Suryakant that they should not give the case to Damini. Kshitij further tells Suryakant that Damini had left her last case halfway, which proves that she is a very irresponsible person. Damini agrees with Kshitij's allegations but explains the reason why she had left her last case in between. Damini tells Suryakant that like Saraswati, she also had a troubled marriage life. The agony of her husband's torture was so intense that it began to take its toll on her professional career. After putting an end to her career, she had completely isolated herself from the rest of the world. However, Saraswati's case had given her a reason to live. Savitri is impressed with Damini and encourages her to fight for Saraswati. On the other hand, Rasilibai is shocked when Kajri suddenly faints. However, she is taken aback when the doctor informs her that Kajri is pregnant.
