Suryakant is dejected that he would be unable to give any donation to the temple this time. Despite his initial reluctance to accept it, Savitri and his daughters insists that he take their ornaments. Suryakant prays to God to give him such daughters in every life! Meanwhile, Kajri removes the jewellery and money from the safe for charity. Menka is delighted but her happiness is short-lived when Kajri announces that the donation will be made in her name! Suryakant phones Karan and invites Lakshmi and him to the temple. When Kshitij excuses himself to leave from work, Yuvraj gives him more work. Suryakant gives the donation at the temple, so Kajri taunts him about selling the self-respect of his daughters! She says that such donations were a sin! Kajri and Yuvraj proceed to give their donations, when Lakshmi arrives at the temple. She tells Kajri that her father would rather lead a life of respect with his daughters than live in humiliation with his son and daughter-in-law! Lakshmi demands to know why society discriminates between sons and daughters, and their responsibilities! Kajri retorts that she has more money and jewellery, so she would make the donation! Karan intervenes by making double the contribution, and says it would be only in Suryakant Garodia's name! Karan then tells everybody that one must not accept donations from a prostitute!
