When Savitri tries to intervene, Menka accuses her that her daughter, Lakshmi, had dishonoured the Garodia family. Savitri explains to Suryakant that if Satyakam and Lakshmi had not taken this step, then Saraswati would have had to suffer for life because of Bhavishya! Lakshmi apologises to Suryakant and assures him that their farcical marriage was only to provide justice for Saraswati, and that she had never crossed her limits in their marriage. Suryakant replies that he believes her completely and her deceit was worthy of being forgiven. Suryakant then announces that Lakshmi and Satyakam must get married. Menka is shocked and angry! Meanwhile, Kshitij is shocked to see Suryakant bail him out. Suryakant informs him that the real culprit is behind bars. In the Garodia House, Halki advises Saraswati to heed her guidance and asks her to recite an incantation to have a healthy baby boy, so Saraswati replies that the sex of the baby doesn't make a difference; all she wants is a healthy baby. Nainaben tells Halki that irrespective of what Saraswati may say, she wants a boy for her family! Later, when Kshitij is about to leave town, Suryakant apologises to him. Suryakant and Satyakam beg him not to go, so Kshitij agrees. When Suryakant returns home, he tells Menka that he regrets the day he refused Satyakam for Lakshmi. He then asks her whether he should call the priest to fix Lakshmi's wedding, so Menka retorts that he can do anything he pleases because her decision was always wrong! Suryakant retorts that he supported his daughters' decisions because he had deemed it right, and accuses Menka of not realising her responsibility despite being an elder!
