Saraswati manages to push Bhavishya but he goes to stab her again, when Satyakam arrives and stops him! Lakshmi and he pacify Saraswati. Satyakam declares to his family that Saraswati and Lakshmi are his responsibility now and warns them not to harm either of them! He threatens Bhavishya never to raise his hand to harm anyone again! Later, Saraswati tells Bhavishya and Lakshmi that she had forgotten the song the moment Bhavishya had come close to her. She says that she can't continue the act any longer but Satyakam reassures her. Meanwhile, Menka gives Pavitra gifts and lifts her veil. Menka wonders what's bothering Pavitra. The others too give Pavitra gifts before lifting her veil to see her. Pavitra then goes upstairs with the gifts. Yuvraj takes one of Kajri's necklaces and tells her that he'll free Rasilibai right away. Later, Menka tells Pavitra that she has come to take the jewellery away and lock it in a safe. Kajri vows to herself to get back all the jewellery by evening! Yuvraj gets Rasilibai released and warns her to be careful for a few days because he does not want to beckon any more trouble. When Yuvraj returns, he finds Kajri crying. She tells him that Menka took away her jewellery and was feeling sad because she wanted to dress like a newly wed bride for a few days. Yuvraj comes to Menka and asks her to give him Pavitra's jewellery. When Menka says that Pavitra can take anything she wants whenever she needs it, Yuvraj retorts that Pavitra wants to be like a bride for a few days! Menka is shocked and returns the ornaments. Phulki and Halki taunt Menka that a mother has no value or identity once a daughter-in-law comes home!
