Two best friends, Reema and Anu, go to Goddess Vaitali's temple to contact Reema’s dead father. In her quest, Reema steals one of the dolls from the tree and takes it home. When Reema realises that a spirit was tied to that doll and has come along with her, she decides to put it back. The visit to the temple seals both Anu’s and Reema’s fates when the spirit possesses Reema’s body. It is now up to Shruti, Reema’s younger sister and their grandmother to free Reema from the spirit’s spell.
