Sandhya possesses a man and warns Pratibha of dire consequences unless she leaves the village for good. Later, a harrowed Pratibha is approached by an ascetic Vani, an expert in 'Kinnari Sadhna'. Vani reveals the reality behind 'Kinnari Sadhna' and refers to the queer box as a nexus between them and Pratibha's missing husband and child. She performs a ritual that summons the evil Kinnari. However, later Pratibha is aghast to realize that Vani had defected to the evil side.
