Tak Jhal Mishti depicts Trina's journey as she tries to prevent her property from being sold off. As it so happens, Trina incurs a lot of debt that has to be paid off, and because of this, her property must be mortgaged. What makes this situation even more indecisive is that the house is her ancestral home to which she has a lot of memories attached. To get her property back, Trina starts a restaurant called Tak Jhal Mishti along with her friend Sayak, hopeful that the profit earned from this business would help regain her property.
