An epic tale of revenge

Sharda raises her sons, Ram and Lakhan, to become police officers and get revenge for their father's death. What happens when the two brothers part ways as Lakhan turns into a corrupt cop?

Ram Lakhan is a 1989 drama,  starring Anil Kapoor,  Jackie Shroff,  Madhuri Dixit and others. Sharda is a widow with two sons. She was living the life of a queen with her husband,  before his nephews Bhishamber and Bhanu  tricked him and usurped all the family wealth and the mansion. They also killed their uncle and Sharda's husband brutally. Her elder son Ram is an inspector who is a roadblock in Bhishamber's illegal activities. Lakhan also becomes a cop. But he is corrupt and works for Bhishamber for money.
