Plot of Pavitra Rishta TV Show

The story of Pavitra Rishta revolves around Archana and Manav. Archana Karanjkar is a diligent and kind young lady, but she was only able to complete the eighth grade of her education because of her mother's illness. A simple mechanic named Manav develops feelings for her. In order for Manav to be able to marry Archana, Manav's mother, Savita, tells Archana's mother, Sulochana, a lie to the effect that Manav is a mechanical engineer. 

When Archana and Manav finally tie the knot, Archana's family finds out that Manav is just a simple mechanic. The Hindi drama TV show features how Archana and Manav develop feelings for each other over the course of time.
