After Ki Ha-myung's family is shattered by an unethical reporter's story falsely implicating his father, he takes on a new identity as Choi Dal-po.

Dal-po keeps up the façade as the school's worst student. However, when he gets a perfect score on a televised quiz, rumours run wild in the school.

In-ha wants to become a journalist like her mother. After struggling for years, she informs Dal-po that she has finally got an interview at MSC, the news channel her mother works at.

In-ha's father asks Dal-po a delicate question. Dal-po and In-ha both decide to apply for a spot at YGN. Dal-po's father has a surprise for him.

While he is unable to find his brother, Dal-po learns that he has been chosen by YGN. In-ha keeps hiccuping when confronted about her feelings for Dal-po.

The rookies get sent out to cover their assigned districts and brace themselves for a long night. Dal-po sees In-ha coming out of MSC with Seo Beom-jo.

Dal-po and Yun Yu-rae are sure they have an exclusive news report in hand, but In-ha and Beom-jo feel the same. Dal-po faces a dilemma while handling a sensitive report.

Dal-po is reluctant to reveal his real name or his profession to Ki Jae-myung. In-ha deals with Dal-po's mother giving her the cold shoulder.

Dal-po sees his family making the news again in a different way and begs In-ha to stay away from Jae-myung. In-ha learns an awful truth about her mother.

Shocked at her mother's adamance that she did nothing wrong, In-ha presses her to take responsibility for her misconduct at the lecture.

Dal-po reveals his identity and story to Jae-myung. He requests his brother to turn himself in but is shocked to learn about Song Cha-ok's actions. In-ha feels helpless.

Jae-myung turns himself in allowing Dal-po to take revenge from Song Cha-ok. Dal-po decides to say good-bye to his adoptive family and resume his life as Ki Ha-myung.

Ha-myung has a face-off with Song Cha-ok. Beom-jo makes up his mind over In-ha while Ha-myung pursues a story that hits too close to his home.

In-ha sides with Beom-jo shocking Ha-myung. Beom-jo suspects his mother. Ha-myung is unable to sort all the evidences required for the department store story because of a mishap.

Ha-myung and In-ha desperately try to prove Ahn Chan-soo's innocence when Song Cha-ok reports him as the culprit responsible for the fire.

Ha-myung remembers Song Cha-ok's reaction to the new evidence in the waste-disposal plant fire story. Meanwhile,the Olympics steal the focus away from the story.

In-ha and Beom-jo confront their mothers when they realise their involvement in the past incident. The two of them have to choose between protecting their kin and bringing out the truth.

Ha-myung decides to follow a reliable informant for evidence against Park Ro-sa. The offices of YGN and MSC fall prey to a terror attack.

Ha-myung's story exposes Song Cha-ok's role in manipulating the media. Beom-jo makes a statement to the police about Park Ro-sa.

Park Ro-sa goes to the police on behalf of Beom-jo but loses control when Ha-myeong questions her. In-ha's grandfather gives his blessing to her relationship with Ha-myung.
